Coachella

(Hat: SM Accessories; Top & Vest: vintage; Shorts: random store at Harrison)

Thank you Monica Bernardo for taking my photos!

If I ever get to attend Coachella (let me rephrase, When I get to attend in the future), I’d probably wear something like this. It has always been on my bucket list to attend and experience such fun events (including NYE at Times Square, Mardi Gras, Peak of Sakura Season in Japan, etc.) at least once in my life, and well, now that I’m officially off school, I can finally start earning my own money and save up to turn these dreams into reality. I WILL definitely cross Coachella off of my bucket list someday, but for now, I’ll settle for an inspired coordinate. Mark my word, someday soon. ♥

Younger Than My Age

“You look younger than your age” is one of the phrases I always hear that I am most definitely tired of. It may seem like a complement to others but in my case, because I am sooooo petite, I know people meant it the other way. But hey, being ridiculously small has loads of advantages as well so I got over my frustration of how I never grew after sometime in my early teenagehood.

Take this dress for example, everybody’s mouth dropped when I told them it’s actually my Mom’s top (hahaha okay so mouth dropping was exagg but you know what I mean!). It’s really big on me but dresses are some of the lightest things to carry and since we were from a slumber party the day before this was taken (and we had to look somehow corporate-ish), I brought it without hesitation; there’s no oversized clothing that a belt can’t fix!

P.S. I have no idea why I’m white as a ghost in these photos lol.

Smart in Casual

A friend of mine used to joke: “I’m wearing something casual because I’m already smart, if I wear something ‘smart casual’ wouldn’t that make it smart smart casual already?” hahaha smart on brain, casual on clothing it is!

So as I said in my previous post, we visited Muffins by Doris a couple of weeks ago for school purposes and this is what I wore. We decided to wear something presentable since we were sort of representing the school—we were actually supposed to be wearing the University shirt but mine had a large pink stain on the armpits so plain white shirt was the next best thing.

Thanks Monica Bernardo for these photos!

When I had my Internship last summer, one of the many things I’ve learned was that good service could get you more customers than paying for advertisements. When people receive good service, chances are they’d tell it to their family, their friends and everybody else they know which I have proven is true, because otherwise, I wouldn’t be stating all these right now. I noticed how everyone from my group kept tweeting/ posting on their walls and re-telling stories of our experience over at Muffins by Doris. I swear the goodies were to die for; the staff and the owner herself were really very very nice! Pay them a visit, will you?
